A curated display featuring objects from the Bankfoot House collection celebrate the Scottish lineage of Mary and William Grigor and their families. Contributors embroidered names or other identifiers on the cotton squares. The Busy Bees pieced the squares together. The quilt testifies to their church and family connections as well as their community, business, government and social networks in Heidelberg, Prahran, Williamstown and elsewhere. Brigadoon 2020 marks the 43rd anniversary of the highland gathering in Bundanoon. With pipe bands, highland games, the Tartan Warriors, dancers, stalls and clan representatives, this is the largest event of its kind in Australia.
